Anybody else have a problem with there Power steering hoses leaking??

Mine is leaking fluid at the fitting which goes into the resevoir!!

Took it to the dealer, and they ordered the hose. Won't do it under warranty since they saw the blower. Wasn't the fact that the blower caused it, just that they new people were working all over that area. Just a little bend in the hose will cause it to leak. I can't blame Roe since it was leaking a litlle bit before they got it.

Just curious if anyone else has had theres leak??:dontknow:

Mine hasnt leaked.

but is it the threaded part?

if so , remove it, put some thread sealer on it and replace.

if its the actual fitting as a whole , then yeah the entire hose will need replaced.

I would pm dragon and get one from him.

It is a 2 part fitting, the hose clips into the pressure fitting which screws into the resevoir. The tech said once you snap the hose into the fitting you can't get them apart so you have to replace both parts!!:dontknow:

I bet if you speak with the service manager, he will cover the parts at least...there is absolutely no relationship between the blower and the power steering lines. But on the other hand, not a big thing either way.

Ever since Bam Bam left this dealer has gone to hell!! I spoke with Dave at Roe and he recommended I call Ronnie robinson Dodge, I did and they said bring it in. If the blower didn't cause the problem they will cover it.

I think I have found another Bam bam!!  :p

Great Marc...the loss of Bam Bam was a huge blow to us. Hope he is happy in the Carolina's...someone has a super Viper Tech.

Mine leaked..... Also keep an eye on the oil cooler lines where they attach to the engine. Yep, small leak there too.
