Hey Guys,

As some of you know I was having probs with the leaking hose to the power steering pump. Well they finally fixed it..As it turns out the factory hose is a factory defect. Dlrship contacted a local hydrualic shop and manufactured a
replacement for me. If you look at your current hose on your truck and see the pics below, you will see the diff. Also, the hose for those that ordered it through your service dept...it will be the wrong fit and will not work. Just a heads up. Hope this help most of you all out there that maybe having the leaking/seeping/dripping problem. If not taken care of...it will get
worse. I loosed power steering on my way to the dlrship the day I dropped it off for them to work on and man I tell you...it was tuff man handling those
22's without power assist. Just be careful and get it done. Hope these pics helps out on the visual.

Have the same problem on my truck :( its leaking from the inside of the fitting that goes into the P/S pump. Dealer said the OE hose is on national back order so i tried a couple of quick temporary fixes(O-Ring, silicone) to no avail. Guess I'm just going to upgrade to some aftermarket braided hoses, JTSVP has some :D

I have replaced that hose 3 times now, no dealership could ever get it for me so i went to radiator sops and they made them up for me no problem, $35 is about all it cost. The ones the radiator shops have made are much better quality than factory just tell them you want a good high px hose and crimp the ends down good.:)

I just got my truck back from the dealership yesterday. The power-steering line came completely off. There were 2 other SRT-10's there with power-steering line issues. One red QC and a CE.

i haven't had any problems with mine (yet), but stinker has some very nice lifetime warrantied braided power steering lines to solve that issue. :)

10-4 on stinker's p/s lines. got some miles on mine now. she steers so much better
