Was out driving today and noticed that the engine temps were a little higher than usual. As I slowed down, they climbed higher. When I went to turn off the expressway, I also noticed that I had no power steering. Pulled over and popped the hood. Fan wasn't working, so I checked the p/s fluid level. It was full and I could see the fluid moving in the reservoir, while the engine was running. So, I'm assuming the pump is working. Any ideas? I'm thinking that some how the module that the fluid goes through in the back of the fan, has gone bad?

Is it leaking ? Mine did the same thing i just ordered the new lines . It was leaking from the bottom of the box

I'm not sure either but I hope the fan module is NOT the problem. That sucker is expensive...

When i did my build the fan and module that i ordered accually didnt work and i had the same problem. The guy i bought it from was cool though and he send me a replacement module which fixed it so Yes that could be your problem if nothing leaking and the pump is working....

These trucks have the most rediculous fan setup... :( Hope it's nothing major, Santeen. :dontknow:

I know Justin at JMB has a nice electric fan kit, if you want to get rid of all that stock nonsense. :)

Thats the route i would take. The hydro setup is a JOKE and going electric would be much cheaper in the long run probley
