Prayer for Turtle

Alex, give me a jingle when you feel up to it. I continue to pray for a speedy recovery for you. Also for you Bill, it can get stressful caring for someone who is not feeling well.:nurse:

Alex, and Billy..sorry for posting up so late..been crazy here..Alex, remember what I told you awhile back..make sure you write stuff down, ask whatever questions you feel important, no matter how dumb you think they are..dont leave the doctors office until you get all the answers you need, and know what the plan of attack is for whatever is next. if you arent comfortable with the answers, get a second opinion. As for the waiting, and not knowing, keep busy, and dont go reading alot of stuff on the internet. You will just drive yourself nuts. Call me if you want to yak..570-856-3479..
Billy, hang in there bro..We are thinking of you all..

Excellent advice.

Another technique to get your physician to level with you and not give you medical terms...start calling them by their first name...it personalizes the conversation and puts more pressure on the doctor to be clear in his/her comments.

Dealing with "Robert" is always a more clear conversation that dealing with "Dr. Smith".

We have a meeting with her doctor thursday morning. I think this is when we get the cold hard facts of just what is going on inside her. We are preparing for the worst, JIC.

On a good note, Alex started her new job today. Although it doesn't pay as much as she was making, it is in the field she likes doing.

This winter is going to be a difficult time for us, but we will do it together.

Maybe a vacation...an early Christmas shopping trip to Chicago...a couple of nights in a familiar comfortable bed...with no oversight from an overly protective old fart, plus a couple of liters of the Captain laying around...

This is VERY important! Too many people forget to hope for good and get too focused on the bad!

Intend for everything to be good, and it will all work out!

I will be praying for a positive report!
