Ok so I installed the Mopar LT headers w/ catless mids. I damaged the wires on one of the pre-cat 02 sensors....the one which screws into the collector before the mid pipe. The insulation on the wires were cut back a little....I think two wires may have touched eachother....would this blow a fuse and if so which one? :dontknow:

I installed the sims and all is good there.....but I'm thinking my CEL is from this one 02 sensor. If the fuse is not blown....I'll just buy a new 02 sensor from the dealer. Make sense? How much do you think a new sensor is? Thanks!

Tape the wires back up.
Can you read your CEL? What's the code?

Hey Bone- I did tape the wires back up....one broke off completely....striped it and twisted it back together and taped it up. I don't know how to read the code? I am thinking it has to be the fuse if this would blow it...or just need a new 02....it broke off pretty close to the end so i didn't have much to work with!

dude solder the wire, if its on the sensor, then get a new one. if the sym leds are blinking, you didnt blow a fuse.
you will just need to get the code cleared out. unplug the ecm, and the battery for an hour AFTER you fix the problem, and that should clear it out.

Thanks Boomer! Yeah the cut is right on the sensor. Gonna get a new one. Didn't know the trick about unplugging the ECM as well as the battery...the ecm is on the passenger side of the engine bay correct? w/ those big plug looking things?
