just curious , a shop over here has a stock engine + gearbox from a wrecked 04 RC truck with 20.000 miles on it.He claims that among you guys they are asking about 15.000 $ for it ? :dontknow: i can hardly believe him....
Did inform to buy eventually the rear axle to do my 4.88 mod on and change axle's to keep mine with the 4.1 , but one driveaxle is broken from the crash so i'm afraid that the axle-housing with internals also had a hard beat . I don't thrust it anymore.
I don't find anyone with experience for the 4.88 mod , so i will have to do it myself with the 62 pages guide from Dana 60....Seen a article about it on internet what begins with : practical impossible to do a good job under the truck , axle must be removed ??? :dontknow: :dontknow:
