It's true.... well documented.... :( (Even the shit about the Hummer. Although, I think most studies are referring to the "H2" or Land Rover Discovery).

Here is my favorite clip on the notion.

Keep in mind... there is no shortage of left-wing, Gore-loving, "green peace" folks attempting to de-bunk these findings.... However, in what I've read, all they can come up with is the argument of "life cycle" of the completed vehicle. They state the Toyota Prius has a "significantly" longer life cycle of 109,000 miles (as stated in the "CNW" report). Although, they don't offer up a number to define "significant".... Most don't even touch on the FACT about nickel production plants used to create the batteries. ;) The only (albeit weak) counter argument I've found on this is: (paraphrasing) "The plants contracted to produce the Nickel used in the Toyota are not owned by Toyota. Therefore, these plants shouldn't be taken into account for overall environmental impact." :dontknow: WTF are these people thinking? Some reports go further to state: (paraphrasing) "The nickel refineries in question don't just produce nickel for car batteries... They also produce nickel for chrome plating. The same chrome plating that is used for trim and wheels on luxury cars." ........ Gimme a fkin break. :( :argh:

Can't wait to see what Prof has to say about this.

The "at" in your comment is superfluous. Bridgette could tell you that.

How is my budding writer these days?

she is also most done with her cna class. she is doing her clinicals at the hospital. She is gonna try to be a life flight nurse

You are Lemmings.

Why is there no attribution...the web site at the end does not exist...

Why does the person not provide their name or citations or supporting evidence...

I checked two of the claims...both are spurious. Now I may have just happened on to the two items that were mis-stated...and every other claim may be spot on...but I doubt it.

Where are the critical thinkers on this site?

I think some of you are just lazy...and want to believe anything that in someway supports your opinions, as I said...Lemmings.

Outstanding. But I think she should go to Medical School and become an ER Physician, on your nickle!

He's back on his horse...................and it's a high one! LOL :)

They (Toyota) engineered the prius, to appeise the tree huggers , yes , no,:dontknow: .............I would not want to be riding in one (prius) involved in a collision:argh: also their mandates (government:EPA). also I think this kind of GREEN advertising, without the truth about the devastation to the envirement, this is just a preview of a lot more truth to be reveald.

He's just supporting different folks, and different thinking than others.... cart blanche calling us all "Lemmings" is a little extreme. :dontknow: But, I consider him a mentor..... so a little creative criticism is allowed, IMO.
