well today after work i went to wash and wax my truck to get it ready for the car show - well when i went to start her up - no go DEAD battery

so i charge it ..............................

then i go to start it up and to my suprize, rough idel !!!!! WTF - i have no idea what it could be, i was thinking TPS ?

According to the Gas Gauge, your running on fumes.....

If the battery went completely dead it would have cause your PCM to reset...just drive it for about 10 miles and all should be well...

I kilt my battery once and and the only thing I noticed was the rpm gauge jumping up and down. Drove it to work and by the time I got there all was good, however, you better hit a gas station before you attempt a 10 mile drive

Yeah, just dont go over 10 miles or you will run out of gas...:D

I cant tell for sure but it looks like your CEL is lit up?....as long as it isnt flashing it is safe to drive...it will either go out itself or you can reset with the SCT.

Get a new battery or fully charge it. Low batetry voltage can do all kinds of crazy things to our systems.

Yes low current from battery and alternator can cause the hay wire effect.. check the alternator also just to make sure after the battery replacement. The PCM will reset and begin to read and all will be well after a little bit of driving..

I took the truck out for a spin and damm if it was not wat u guys said - damm it felt good to take it out - I don't drive thr truck all that much ne more so I guess it's time to get a battery tender ..... Thanks again .... I love this place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
