Roy, I have been thinking that this would be a great time for you to move up to one of those beautiful Turbos of Justins. You have all the support parts to hook your truck and keep it together. Wow wouldn't that be fun.

Oh yea, I got dibs on your Roe setup so hurry up and get this done.
Jack (the fat one):) :)

Great idea!

Roy can have the first 15 sec. turbo charged viper truck...

Will

If I were him I would keep it. Its a tried and true very dependable power adder. It requires very little maintenance and doesn't require any special tuning skills.

Neither does the turbo, nor intercooler. My inlet air temps never exceed 160 under high boost 18 psi.

I think with the "hardening" of my engine...I am about at the end. I am weary of the ricers buzzing around me trying to get me to race...I am just about to make a decision to move on...maybe one of the new Vipers...leave it stock and drive it until the wheels fall off. Wife wants to sell my Volvo and pick up another one in Europe this summer.

Sad day if the truck goes away...then again I may just make a case for having both the truck and the Viper and let Volvo go for a new one...will have to get that lift to fit two non-winter drivers into the garage...even with a four car garage the toys seem to expand beyond the capacity...

I see a sale looming on the horizon? Is this a case of sun depravation?:D

Don't meant to hijack the thread, but we have a member with a working STS setup? I would like to hear more...

Maybe. But I may just hold it as a weekend fun ride, for another year...

My wife is terribly practical. The idea of two vehicles that only roll in balmy weather and only have two seats grates on her sensibilities. But the sacrifice of my 850R for a newer Volvo plus her Prius may sway her enough to let me feed my lust for horsepower...

Contact FlyingLow...he is one of the few STS turbo trucks still alive.

And there is someone who just bought one...but he has not said much lately...

Maybe I could consider a huge mobile home in trade for my truck?

It looks like that. I would like to hear more also!

Marty (msdnga) should start a new thread and tell us about his STS setup. With pics of course.

I was of the opinion that Marty had an STS but not in the SRT 10....?

STS has had a great run over the years...but their product for the SRT 10 had huge problems...

Maybe my memory is failing me...again!

I will start a new thread, but a moderator really needs to contact me so I can be a supporting vendor. All the issues with STS Turbos have been solved, all.....
I program the truck with 10 injectors and a 2 bar map all through the factory PCM.
So the issue of a surviving STS SRT10 is a thing of the past.

Great Marty...flyinglow will be so happy that he will soil his keyboard.

I will try to prompt FstJack...for ya.

Are you hitting 18 psi on stock internals? That seems crazy high for a SRT-10. I have always heard don't go over 5 without meth or an inter-cooler.
