Has anyone programmed a keyless entry for their truck? I saw somewhere that the owner manual said you can jump pin 1 to pin 4 using a wire then it will be in programming mode. Other ram forums owners have done it and it worked. Problem is on the obd2 for the Srt-10 there is no pin 1 in the only a pin 4. Does anyone know another way to do it on the srt-10 without having to go to stealership?

do you have one remote & just want to add more or you don't have any remotes? :dontknow:
if you don't have any remotes with your truck already, you'll have to go to a dealer or a local locksmith could do it for cheaper...... if you've got the owner's manual & 1 remote already programmed to your truck, it gives you easy steps to get it done.... if ya have a copy of the service manual, it may be in there also. :)
you can download your owners manual here:

now for a spare remote to program, ebay is your cheapest alternative (~$10.00) and i'm pretty sure the numbers needed are:

part# 04686481AC
model/fcc id# gq43vt17t

Yes it's the lock inlock panic thing.lol
I have the original key fob but it decided to stop working and I also changed the batteries. I bought a second one to replace the first one and it said free programming. I thought it needed original key but the ad said it needed a working key fob.

Guess I'm gonna have to go to stealership.
