so, after the long road of my dads stang getting restored...its finally finish!!! (hood needs to be bolted though) 12 years in the making (got into a really horrible accident that almost took his life...brain hemeriging, broken bones...really bad stuff. totaled the car and then inturn tranfered all the interior and useable parts to a 64 1/2 stang). after a long recovery and being screwed several times on getting it restored, (lost 2 $5000+ deposits due to deadbeat mecanics/bodymen who had the car for 15+ months each at different points in time and didnt get even close to the work we paid for) the car awsome..had them put in brand new 302 with all brand new accesories,..vintage air...all new crome trimmings...new glass.
suprised my dad today with a new set of 18" FOOSE wheels to set it off to make it complete!! i wish yall could have seen the old man face when he saw the new wheels...just looks like a different car compared to the stang with the old mag 500's on it..my dads 78 years young (hes owned this stang since 1975) and after 12 years of sleepless nights and worrying about this car, he can finally be happy.
here are some pics
