Project: Copperhead

I got the first round of mods completed yesterday by JMB. JMB ROCKS!
They did an amazing job on my engine bay! The colors are copper metallic and cast iron.

Stock:

The powdercoating

The next steps will be:


Caliper powdercoating in copper metallic

paint rims black

replace front badge with copper metallic badge w/ cast iron viper emblem

remove side badges

remove ram head from tail gate

add copper metallic "copperhead" decal to tailgate

I also have a rear licence plate frame that is in copper metallic that will get the "copperhead" lettering in cast iron colored vinyl.


I'll post pics as the progress moves along.

yeah, the colors are really metallic and pop in the sun....my sucky camera mutes the colors.

Looks good... Very different idea...

Take off the insulation on the firewall and it will look even better. It is useless material and dulls the engine bay down.

thanks everyone. I am really happy with how it turned out. cant wait to get the rest of the transformation done! Just need more time and money.....and JMB all to myself for about a week.

Looks great. I like that color. I think a set of CE stripes would look great on the black in that copper color. Good choice!

yes, there was a limited edition viper in 06 I think, that was copper color and called copperhead. That's where I got the idea. I've never seen it on a Ram though. If anyone has pics of a Ram in the copper theme, I'd be interested in seeing it.

Congrats CB4, That looks awesome! I like things that are a bit different from the crowd (might say a little about me, let's just leave that one alone ) so your rig is right up my alley.

I would think if you REALLY want to stand out, some stripes (as EMT/SRT pointed out) and some matching powder coated wheels would look GREAT!

You could even throw some nice interior accents around and have a very sweet looking ride!!

I can't wait to see more updates!
