project murder(ish) has begun

well....since i have plenty of time on my hands now....i figured now's as good a time as any to begin...(that way i have to finish, since i started)

plus....i never put the badges on since the wreck...so now i have two sides with badges

but i started with the gate....

next will be the antenna, then the wheels....no shiny then black headlights, and i'm gonna get a black billet fuel door and smoke the tails and 3rd brake...

basically...i have been using a product by SEM called trim black....i swear it sticks to wd40...but a little scuffing, took a rubber wheel on a drill to the truck, and the backs of all the letterspainted a few coats, then 3m tape...but you gotta razor knife all the letters out...so...after a few bleeders...and raw fingertips from the drill...they came out great....but i will never do that again...for the time spent, i'da rather just paid the $150 and got all new badges on both sides and the gate...plus...they come ready to stick...no taping the lines on the car with 1/8" tape to make sure they stay level...i'm a little OCD, so they're straight...but it was aggravating as hell
