I just received the projector headlights that I bought from Azmal, and they don't exactly look "plug and play". There is one big plug; which I'm assuming powers the actual headlights, and several other wires with nowhere to go (butt end). There are no instructions, so could someone please tell me what to do with these extra wires?

If they are like mine. One wire is for the LEDs, and the other wire is for the 'halo' around the projector itself. I just hooked mine up to the 'drivinig light'(on the turn signal bulb, but NOT the 'flasher' wire) wire for each respective light. That way all the light come on when you turn the light switch one click everything but the headlight comes on like usual.
Hope this helps.
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I will give it a shot this afternoon.

How you been old friend?

If I can get the headlights to work, I'll be able to see!:D

I got the headlights in (much simpler than Ford), and I absolutely love the look. However, as many have reported on this site, the lighting is awful. The low beams are dangerous at best, but the high's seem a little brighter than stock.

With respect to the low's, I'm not sure if it is because of the bulb, or the positioning of the lamp. Fortunately, this particular brand can be adjusted, and I was able to redirect the light at a higher angle. I'll know more tonight, but I think the look is worth working with. I think part of the reasoning for the poor light is the half moon in front of the bulb; it appears that it only allows half the light to show. However, I'm assuming that this is an attempt to harness the light, so that it doesn't appear you are running high beams.

the aftermarket headlights never light up the road as well as the stock ones. fact of life. take some 3/4 and side shots! they look nice man.

cool, but as my previous experience, they sucks at night, try upgading to Silverstars bulbs on low beam, that should improve a lot!

anyway those lights are very nice! but I won't put them on my truck.

I have the exact same lights..................swapped out the bulbs when i put the lights in......brighter than stock but my lights are still pointed down too much, should adjust when i lower the rear of my truck........enjoy, they are sweet looking!!!!!!
