I posted to see if I could get any info on a truck and I've finally decided to buy. I'm in the northern va area and if there are any other owners that have any get togethers please let me know. I can't wait see how the standard cab 6 speed with a few mods compares to the quad cab I used to heave that had a paxton and full exhaust. The qc ran an 8.3 in the eigth on street tires. What can I expect out of the regular cab? Mods to it are full exhaust, short shifter, volant cai, caltracks, and I believe that's it. Thanks again for all the help in my other thread.

Oh, I didn't realize you meant you were buying the truck we already discussed.

I used to live in Ashburn VA, watch out for a black SRT-8 Magnum with neon green accents, he is fully built & supercharged. Think he lives in MD area.

Yeah I've got mixed feelings on the rims. I might do that black chrome paint on them and darken them up a bit. Thanks for the comments. I just got done at the dealer and eating dinner with the wife then driving it home. So far I love the ease of driving it in traffic in town and going home I have a 45 min highway run so I'll get to see how it fairs at that too. It had a little oil dripping between the trans and motor so I assume it's the rear main seal so I got a promissory note that they would fix that. Does that sound about right? Also how do I know what build number my truck is?
