There are 8 Mopars invited out of 72 invitations this year. Lee Saunders from Clearwater,Fl. is on the list. I think it is a Heffner car,its a '98 Viper that is certified to run 7.50's. Anybody else planning on going? There are several twin turbo cars,nitrous cars and 5 or 6 HEMI cars this year. Comp Cams tours start at 9 am, you can see the cars up close before they are teched in.Then they are impounded till race time. They will leave comp cams at 3 and drive to the track arriving around 4pm to start qualifying. The technology on some of these cars is amazing.

How much trouble would it be for you to bring the receiver hitch for my truck? I will pay you cash and save some on shipping, but let me know if it is too much trouble. We should get there around 9:30 or 10 am. I will be the one with a Mopar t-shirt and looking primarily at Mopars!!!!

Was just reading up on this Lee Saunders Viper. This thing is an automatic with a solid rear axle and ran some 7.70's in the 170 mph range. Heffner says he will be there as well.
