The truck barely fits length wise....
Just pull in a few times doing, say, about 50mph. You'll make some more room.:D :banghead:

Welcome to home ownership!! Congratulations on the new place, it is going to be great for you and your daughter.

Congrats, VA Beach is a nice to place to live too. Used to head up there a bunch when I was stationed at LeJeune.

They have descent schools and pretty good night life...

Thanks bud..how is that crank pulley doing? We need to get gtg going...

It's all back together, I decided to take it to the dealer and let the warranty fix it so it would be documented that it came loose before 7900 miles. Thankfully, the crank snout was OK, they just put a new balancer and bolt on with threadlocker (supposedly). At least I know the balancer is new because I see the yellow letters that say MADE IN CANADA. They took off way more parts than they needed to for access. I guess they thought they were going to have to use a puller. I told the service writer that if you remove the bolt, it will literally fall off. I guess he didn't relay the message. Now I have wrench marks on bolts under the truck and lots of gouges under the front facia where they dragged it over a lift. I sent a long email to the Service Manager about all the details.
BTW, everything was warranted, even the upper door seals. Of course, he only changed the driver's side. I forgot to point out to him that it was a TWO door. I'll do that one myself. It's never going anywhere near that lot again.

It's not too bad, the seal is pretty inexpensive and you can't see the gouges even if you're eye level with the bottom of the spoiler. You have to get on the ground and look up. Just pi$$ed me off because it was totally scratchless when I took it in. I'm just going to mask it at the last visible part and scotchbrite the paint off of the bottom so it is just black ABS. That way, future scratches won't raise my heart rate.

It's funny in a way. Must have been 12 or so years ago that during the course of the year every stick of furnature in the house was replaced. It wasn't until it was all done that I really noticed it as it was one room at a time.

Damn, I sure got snookered that time. :D :p

Now that I think about it, I think the only piece left from that buying spree is the couch in the living room. :(

Great house. My hometown is Hampton and we went to Va. Beach often. Done the single father thing since 94. Hang in there.;)
