I have been cranking my truck up every day after work for the past month to keep the battery up, ill let it run for 15-20 minutes. It still clicks 2-4 times before it cranks, but the batter reads fine, it just kinda cuts out a bit before it cranks. Does anyone have an opinion on why this may be happening, it really bothers me:argh: . Thanks!

either the battery is dead or you have looses connections at the battery or starter/solenoid.

Loose connections or corrosion on the cables.

check your cable's and connections.....

For less than $50 you can buy a "battery tender" that will heep the battery charged. It puts out less current than a trickle charger - just enough to keep the battery topped off. I have one on the beast and my lawn tractor. The last lawn tractor battery I had lasted 7 years. Not bad for a battery that sits dormant during the winter. These things really work.
