    OK

Has anyone here done the 2/4 drop with 45 series tires?

I've got them on the back and thinking about the front sonner or later.

    thanks

I've got the djm rear kit. I'm waiting on rear shock extenders and I think I'm going to install the DJM 2" lowering control arms.

Looks like he sell McGaupheys kits.............. no thank you ;) The front coils are too small and cause the truck to float all over the place.

I just unpacked the flip kit.

Compaired to my last flip kit this thing is 100% better really heavy.

The only thing I'm going to change is the bolts that bolt the adjustable pinion kit. They are grade 5 us bolts. I'm going to replace them with grade 8 bolts. just to be safe.

Other than that It's really nice........all nylok nuts heavy steal and heavy U-bolts.

Another 2 months and this will be installed.

Hey BigIke, So are you running the DJM rear flip kit now? Did you ever get their control arms? I want to do the same to my QC, but don't really know anyone that's done it.

I contacted DJM about which flip kit works on my 10, but they asked how my rear axle is because 10s come in 2 ways. I'm at work and have no way of checking it right now so I'll have to get back to them. Do you guys know how I should answer that? Is the 06 any different than the 05?

they only come one way,,one rear axle, leaf over axle for the qc's

be careful the djm kit is not weld in and will twist the rear axle under accelration

DJM got back to me and said that their rear kit will work but that I should tack weld it in.. go figure.

They also said that the Calmax control arms will not work on an 06.

i would also lower my QC if there was a lowering-kit without issues...
as long if there is not a wel tested kit i stay with shackles and in a few days the SC front springs.:)

do more than tack weld it bud, I ahve seen the tack welds brake, but also I know you got an 06, most 06's tend to have a vibration issue when doing a flip, so be wary before you weld, drive it and see if it vibrates, then if it does adjsut the driveline angle as best ya can in small increments to hopefully remove the vibration

I dont know about you guys but im on the vurge of scrapping as is STOCK!! how do you guys manage to keep the front bumper on.?? :dontknow: in my town between the speed bumps, elevation changes (2 foot ramps) and crappy streets I can't image going lower. Had a buddie with a slammed avalanche he tore off his rear off on day and then decided to raise it he was about 3" off the ground at the time. whats stock on these trucks maybe 6"????

Are you sure your truck wasn't already lowered when you bought it? These things look really hight to me when they are stock. If yours is that bad, it may already have been dropped.
