yea thats what i was thinking cause theres no way id want to trust my driveshaft to four 8mm bolts and two strips of metal. Unless theres a drive shaft hoop involved.

But IMO it would be a great mod because it'd be more reliable, lighter, and loss parasitic loss.... And It could be done for cheap!

Not for use on 2WD trucks. The size of the drive shaft WILL cause contact with the crossmember under certain load conditions in 2WD trucks.

i have a one piece drive shaft from a qc hemi and i bought a slip yoke for it for my truck but turns out they gave me slip yoke for manual tranny (t56) and couldnt find a slip yoke that would fit auto tranny and aluminum drive shaft // so if anyone is interested in buying my driveshaft (1 piece aluminum w/ custom joint and brandnew slip yoke from dodge for t56 tranny just PM me
