QC - Roe and 4.11's

A QC has 4.56 gears stock, and stock it has a problem launching with out melting the track.

With a Roe installing giving so much low end torque, would installing 4.11's help it get out of the hole and not lose too much down low?

pros: better gas milage on highway, taller gear will get you a higher speed in third (1:1 ratio), less engine wear and tear, and if you had a built motor and a 10# and did the swap all at once i doubt you would notice a change from 4.56s.
cons: you better have a built motor and a good tune because with all that wieght you are putting alot of load on the blower and engine, the good thing is the engine will down shift most likely before any major detonation

that being said, if I were to put a roe on my qc i would go 4.11s, probably get 14-15 mpg on the highway, maybe more

4.11 will melt the tires just the same. have you tried slicks, or beefing your suspension to get better traction?

I like the 4.11 also and if we had a true dana 60 I would go with a 4.30 gear but you will love the 4.11 escpecialy on the Highway. May do better in an automatic but iraqivet is right we still rip em too. DRs may have a pair for sale shortly.

The exhaust and cai make for a real good sound the tuner just takes up space in the door pocket feels about the same as turning off the traction control.:dontknow:

I actually have the charger on ebay right now i would rather drive the truck.
