first of all...i was thinking of possibly sprayin like a 100-150 shot.. second..warranty...if i blow the engine and take the kit of and make it stock again...is there a way they can tell that ive sprayed it.. i havent done anything yet but im jsut not to sure on getting away with it...it seems that would do something to protect there investment -i.e. $15000 engine replacement cost! can i do this and get away with it??

IMO, if you wanna play, then plan on payin'!

You can always remove the kit and try to get it covered under warranty, but just remember you've only got yourself to blame when they turn you away.

if you are worried about it to the point of comitting a crime over it......don't do it....

but what im curious about is can they tap into the ecu and see what the reading from your o2's and a/f ratios were before it blew up

They do a test to your engine oil and N20 will show up if its been sprayed. Pay to play is the name of the game, if your that worried about it, put better pistons/rods in it, they are the weak link (then you can spray more anyway!)

In my opinion, that's no different than stealing.

I personally do not liking having to pay a higher price for a vehicle because you cheat a company out of money.

".....................and get away with it................."

Sorry, I know you were looking for a more supportive crowd here but its technically theft... even from a dealership, not a good way to go.

I guess I should add that it's your choice. It's just a choice that I do not agree with.

Hope some of our replies do not put you off in regard to the site.

If you keep it at 100 shot and be smart you dont have anything to worry about. I have sprayed a 175 shot with no ill effects. Stock tune on colder plugs and race fuel. Get it dynoed to your check a/f and go have fun. Just dont spray below 3000rpm and dont hit the rev limiter.

I'm about to start spraying I figured start out with a 50 work my way up to a 150 shot. I purchased the MSD window switch for further protection ( 3000 rpm on 5000 rpm off) I also got the colder plugs and the stock pcm, but anything can happen:dontknow:

I started with a 75 shot and could barely tell it was there. But the 125 is a sure kick in the pants (sig numbers) and a 175 feels wicked!!! I would set the window swith at 2800 to 5400 thats where I will be setting mine. Get it dynoed to check a/f just to be safe. Let me know how you like it!!

Do we hear 250!!!!!! Come on swift... Double dog dare you... :p

Faslane,

No sympathy here... I have had enough people over clock there cpu's and want warranty when they fry... I agree with the rest, if you are worried about warranty don't even try....
