Quad Cab Rear Drop Shackle ??'s

Can somebody please clarify brand and/or part number for '05 QC rear drop shackles. I've searched, but the discussion always seems to get muddied between RC and QC owners. I understand that QC's are spring over and RC's are spring under, so I don't want to beat that dead horse:deadhorse: any more with this thread.

I want to lower the rear of my 2005 QC around 2", what will get me there?

Bell Tech only advertises a 1" drop though.

Yep what he said The X-Metal ones work great, but you will have to play with pinion angle to avoid vibration.

I bought the DJM shackles from a forum member. Dropped the rear end about 1 3/4 inches. Here is the link to the shackles on summit --> LINK

There was not any adjustments. Just make sure the truck settles down before you really tighten them up. Took about 30 minutes to do. Here is a picture of the stock one next to the new DJM.

I used Belltech 6405 from summit. Dropped it but could do with a little more

Got mine from summit. Bell tech shackle.Have a couple fat asses sit on the tail gate before you crank them tight and she will settle nice.Dropped mine about 1"to 1 1/2".levels it out nice.Still has a little rake to the stance though.I think thats all I am going to do with the headaches I hear with lowering these beast.Lowered my hemi and just could never get the alignment right.

Good move with the shackles.... if you go with any more drop, you'll have pinion angle issues on a QC.
