Question about Difference between Viper and Ram viper Engines???

i heard there is a difference between the viper 8.3 and the Ram 8.3....somthing about sensor locations????can someone elaborate and please tell me what you have to do to put a viper engine in our trucks...if anything....and is there something different about the 03' viper engines than the 04' -06' engines....

ummmm well it sounds like you have a hemi so pull the hemi and bolt in the big v10 .. and well if you already have the srt10 well u have a viper engine so no worries.... 04 had no knock sensor not sure if the car did or did not ... but that is no biggie... soo ya what are you actualy lookin for/?

well i got a blown srt10 engine in my truck that actually seized up....but i called x2 and they said that some modifications had to made to the viper engines to put them in the ram....like i said...something about sensor locations....

I just got off the phone with rsi the early '03's have senors in wrong places, but they do have one (03) for sale, all ready built and cheap...

HOW CHEAP????did they say what you had to do to get the sensors to hook up? are you buying it?

They quoted me 12,000. I didn't get all the specs but they said it was built well.... I want to build my own, I want a n/a BEAST!!!!

well its siezed up and i know from bore scoping that atleast one of the cyclinders has some "severe damage" according to the dealership>>>>

hey...im prbrably going with the VS-1500 piston and rod set up from Viper Performance specialties. if your block is in good shape then he can do the bulletproof shortblock for 12,000.....says it will handle 2500hp but for a 1500hp its bulletproof...ill send you the email he sent me

the piston and rod set is like 5000....its custom carrilo rods and mahle custon billett piston with all the bad ass fasteners and rings that are associated with a 1500hp setup...the

I thought the blocks were the same on the RC but the qc was strengthened for the heavy auto tranny.

Sounded like a great deal over the phone, but like I said I want to build the biggest n/a motor ever. 12 g's is not back concidering EED and Arrow want almost 20,000 for the same set up.
