Question about interior parts difference

I hate how our interiors are two toned and I want to paint the upper interior pieces black to match the dash and lower pieces. That would include the A pillars,trim and rear B pilars as well as the overhead display console. I will get the head liner and sun visors re wrapped. I asked Roktman on the srt10 forum (i think he's on this one to) but he has done this and i think it turned out great! According to him he sanded and used sem dye and a coat of black paint as a primer before then a final coat of sem dye.....
So my questions are

1: I have my wrecked 05 QC, are the interior pieces in there the same as the SRT? ( i would look myself but as some may know i'm deployed!) If so i could use paint those and take my time without takeing my srt apart.....

2: Does anyone else have recommendations or tips to getting this done?

3: There was a member on dodgetalk that was redoing and customizing headliners (like molding flames and the rubble bee emblem in the headliner!) and it looked really good. I'm going to see if i can find him in the old threads but if not is ther anyone around here that does work like that?

Some interiors parts are the same...dash would be different....the upper light colored parts are probably the same except of course the driver piller would not have a guage.....

Panels dash are all the same except for the silver trim on the doors and dash which did come in some other models.


Do a light sand unless you want to get rid of the texture and use an adhesion promoter before you paint.

Cool deal, looks like it will work out since i have my wrecked Quad cab!
