Hey Patrick, got a question for you. I'm looking for a place to rent for a vacation next year. Have you ever by chance been in the area that this place is at? If so, is it as nice as it looks? I would hate to rent it and find out it's in a crappy area.

No hurry. Let me know when you get the time.

Thanks

At $10k a week it better be nice!!! And if that isnt enough they charge you another $550 Out charge!!! Maid service to clean up your mess! And you gotta love that 11.25 tax too!!! Thats $1100 more!!!

Your joking right Silver? Sure its a nice property but its on Kauai......ie lots of rain, traffic (lack of roads, too much growth) and those dam dinosaurs!!!! LOL

If you serious about finding a unique place to stay on Maui, I have a friend who's business is booking places like that.

Damn Silver, 10k a week???? Wonder if they rent it by the hour? About the only way I could swing it LOL

Or we could all chip in and wreck the place!  :afraid:

Actually the price is not all that bad when you have 3 families splitting the cost. You also save a bit with being able to do the majority of your own cooking, which is what I prefer. I very seldom stay in Hotels when I go on vacations anylonger. If I can rent a vacation home I will.

Now this place is expensive.

$46,000 to $75,000 a week.  That's out of my price range.

Thanks for the advice Patrick. That's why I figured I would ask someone local. So far we have always had real good luck with vacation rentals. But I would have really hated to travel that far and be disappointed.

Does your friend have a website that I can look at? I can tell you what I'm looking for. Something out of the normal tourist area. I hate crowds, unless they are all nekked women.:D Looking for something that is beach front, not beach view. I like to see, hear, and smell the ocean when I'm there.

No hurry on this. In fact this will probably not happen until after the gathering in Vegas next September.

Thanks for your time and assistance.
