Allright fellas, I have busted myself all over town tryine to figure this one out, the problem is , dodge decided to put an oddball thread onthe drivers side.
and i havent been able to find a fitting with the correct thread.
Now this is for the braided brake lines going to each caliper on th front, and the rear axle, this is not the lin lock kit, the rear axle worked out perfect, the passenger side worked out perfect, but he drivers side fitting is jsut an oddball size thread
Solution?
Cut and flare the line with a standard thread.

This will consist of cutting the metal line where it meets the factory line, sliding on a new fitting then reflaring the metal line.

Doing this will keep the kit under two bills.

Now the a couple things I want to stress.
one, this will need to be done by a qualified tech, with the proper equipment.
two, I will have to state that this kit is for offroad use only, due to the legal side:D

Now I will use a poll to see if this is cool beans with my buds, I didnt want to do anything with out askin you guys first, if it was jsut mine, I would just do it, but with everybody interested , I wanted to make sure it was ok with you guys:rock:

Is this for the brake lines or the line lock lines:dontknow:

Cause ya know you have about a zillion projects for the guys:D

LOLOL sorry let me go back and edit;) its for the braided brake lines , not the line loc, Eddie is installing the lin loc today and will let us know if it worked out:rock:

thanks:p

That looks better:D

If I was getting in on this deal I would find another solution. It might look a little odd if someone is looking at it...........But having the same threads all the way around is nice too. Many things too think about. So it is a toss up for me.

Thanks:p

well actually it will just be the drives side brake line, and it want even be noticable, basically if ya turn your wheel and look in the fnderwell and find the rubber line, follow it to the end you will see where a small black metal line meets it, that brass looking small fitting is the one that woud be replaced and wouldnt even be noticable.

fixin to head out and look some more, if I had time I would take some pics, maybe I will whenst I git back:D

I think some pics might help.

Probably the best would be to Keep It Simple S..............tinker:D ;)
