I'm planning on painting all of my grills black, but am lost as to how to remove the lower one. Any advice?? Thanks!!

If I remember right, when we did the front end work on my truck. The bumper facia needs to be removed and the two grills have a couple of clips that hold them in place

Well that sounds like a blast...

Maybe I'll just wait until winter when the truck gets parked and I repaint the whole front fascia. Or maybe I can talk my fiance's dad into painting it early.

two small bolts in the fenderwell, then about 12 under the front end, that holds up the front bumper, takes about 20 minutes , then they are clipped to the front fascia

That's not too bad then. I may give it a go this weekend if the plugs and wires go smoothly.

Jack up the front end a little and remove both front tires, and use a cordless drill with a 1/4 attatchment, will make it tons quicker bro.'

then after all the bolts are out, take one side pull it outwards towards the side of the truck then forward, and it will come right off bro

did ya get ya can yet? should be there anyday if ya havent gotten it yet

A small deer will work also.

I've been looking for one of those...

Can't seem to find one though. There everywhere here, just not in front of my truck. It would be a great, cheap way to get the bumper repainted which has taken quite a beating from the previous owner.

Take a pair of stinkers wool underware wrap them around a tree and run into it. Say ya hit a sheep:marchmellow:Anybody that knows him will tell ya if he cant be with one he'll wear one.:D :marchmellow: ;)

Its very easy...No need to remove the wheels! Just a few screws like Stinky said. You might want a blanket handy to lay the facia on so you can remove the grills.
Deffinetly a 6pak job.
