Question on hood scoop insert??

I am putting the OE black hood scoop insert on while switching all my grills to black and I notice some are "solid" with the criss/cross pattern and some look they have "holes" in them. Whats the difference? Did people drill holes in them or dremel it? Thanks....... Also where do I get the hardware to reattach it.?

The Daytona trucks had the same hood as the SRT-10. But they had a solid panel for the insert. The SRT's had holes in the insert. Other than a dealer, I have no idea where you would get the hardware.

thanks, the one i have coming is the solid one....... is that a problem???

dont think you want to close that hole up it lets you vent heat from the engine to cool the engine bay.

Anyone have one they want to part with??????? Or I may attempt using a dremel.....
