Ok so I am finally ready to start customizing my black 05 qc and need some advice.
1. I want to put an exhaust on my truck and was probably going to go with catless mids and a gibson muffler. With this setup would it be stupid to do electric exhaust cutouts?
2. I like the look of the new Audi headlights with the LED's and I know Stinker posted a thread a few days ago about headlights with the LED's. How do those work? I dont have daytime running lights so would they only work at night?
3. I was thinking of getting the rb1 unit because I saw that you can use the Ipod hookup with it. Where would I purchase the hookup from?
4. I want to lower my truck with Stinkers drop kit and was wondering if once it is lowered, will it clear low curbs or parking blocks?
5. I was thinking of putting the black honeycomb grill on my truck but want to keep my wheels polished. Will this look stupid?

I have stinkers drop kit on my QC and the answer is no. You will not clear most parking blocks. Sometimes I leave the ass end hanging way out to prevent me from even getting close.

Like Wassup said... Get an SCT or flash your computer. You will love the difference it makes in these QC's!:marchmellow: :marchmellow: :burnout: :burnout:

i am doing the cutout.... cant wait to get them on ...... but i would go with magnaflow not gibson

RB1 will be kool - would be a nice addition to the truck

stinker will deff hook u up on the lowering kit

and the black hineycomb grill is a MUST

and the look of your truck when u are done WILL BE BADD AZZ

Oops I meant magnaflow lol. O and I am going to get an SCT i just did not have any questions on it lol. Im just afraid to put the honeycomb grill on and it to look weird with polished wheels. I dont want to black out my wheels.
 
it will look good with the honeycomb grill as long as you put a silver srt emblem on the lower driver side grill piece:D

1. magnaflow or mbrp is a good option as long as it is not an 06
2still got to call them on the headlights so actually not sure
3 buy a real radidio bud, unless you can find one really cheap, the oem sytem has probs
4, yep you'll knock off the spoiler if not careful, but you can jsut add shackles and remove the overload off the rear and get a nice look
5, got a nice honeycomb and new srt emblem for a decent deal, and looks tons better than oem



nothing looks stupid as long as it is your mod an what you want
 
I have an IPOD interface that will work with an RBQ or RB1...PM me if your interested. Its a MOPAR unit that is made to work with those two factory radios. Cheers!

What do you think of the powersticks? I was looking into those. I know you sell them stinker. Add shackles and remove overload? what steps, what do I need to buy How? I am interested!! I have the SRT emblem already. I had it in the hood scoop but did not like it there and you could not see it unless right up to it on the chrome grill. Will the steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket radio system?
 
the powersticks are popular, but they are loud;)

but shackles are easy to install, and you can pm emt/srt on the overload removal bud, its a pretty easy deal :D

but they do make controls if not mistaken for the aftermarket radidios
 
Where would I buy the shackles from I dont see them on your site? If I put the shackles on and do the overload removal how much lower will that make it? Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

but contact me, I can usually do them shipped for close to that depending on your area,

but they lower it about an inch to inch and half, then the overload drops it another inch or so, makes the truck loook almost level, take a look at emt's sig pics,
 
i know this is a stupid question but do I need to make the quantity 2 or is it a pair? on the shackles
 
Forget about the gibson.......sounds just like stock to me. Magnaflow or something else. Catless mids give you great cheap power but its gonna be loud.....wake the neighbors loud....cant sneak around loud.... Its very cool and a pain at times too IMO.

Ok so now since you all got me thinking about the reflash, is there a cheaper route to go than $750 from DC Performance?
