I'm sure if you called EED, they would be happy to give you a price. :D

....... And I'm also sure you could buy a nice Paxton or ROE S/C for less than that intake. :p

Put a sock on it.;) :p :D

LOL...:D

Seriously now- is that the intake I seen in an older Mopar Perf catalog for the Vipers? And any techies know if this would work?

To get back to the question at hand, regarding the effectiveness of the manifold, I would have to question the turbulance of the air inside the plenum chamber. You have the throttle ports and velocity stacks sticking up inside this area. We have issues with our current design and it's not cluttered up.

It does however sure look nice.:)

Which is one of the reasons for me contacting EEP on this- I want to hear their thoughts on one of these beautiful looking intake systems on a Viper Truck and how would it work?:D

Actually, John.... The intake looks very similar to the intakes on F1 cars. Also, the intake on my 2002 M5 looked VERY similar to that (raised velocity stacks, individual throttle bodies, all encased in a box). :dontknow: I thought "turbulance" in the intake air-charge was a good thing?

I was going to say something similar. My friend and I installed a Delage airbox on his M3 a few months ago. It was a carbon fiber box with the exact same design as this one.

Totally beautiful and mega expensive ~5k for the intake.

As long as all cylinders are receiving the same, or close to the same amount of air, all is good. If not, then you will have issues with rich/lean cylinders.

Ah, I see what your stepin' in. :) ;)

Just for shits and giggles.... Here's what the inside of a M5 intake looks like. :p
