ok how do our trucks compair to a GTO i'm sopose to run this guy in the next day or so and wanted to get yalls thoughts
he layed down 383 at the wheels his mods are

how do you tihnk my truck is going to fair up agenst his GTO?

A stock 05/06 GTO will cut a 12.9-13.2.......With his mods he is probably around 12.0....are you that fast?

this is going to take place in mexico prolly from a 45,65 punch... and yes i think my truck should be right beside him i'm port an polished heads,cam with bumped compression,port matched motor and some other stuff this will be completely N/A since my nitrous isn't hooked up yet

well i mean i'm not really that worried yesterday i ran right next to a procharged Mustang and he only put a length on me and that was after he finally got into boost

10.1 i believe i got it wrote down somewhere it's wither a 9.9 or 10.1 but 10.2 is stickin in my head

The GTO's biggest advantage is ability to launch faster off the line due to lighter weight...he loses that in a rolling race....you might take him but like Jack said be careful..

Now that I have my truck running once word gets around at work everyone will be out for me:rock: One guy happens to have a new GTO and the other has an 08' SRT-8 charger They are both pretty much stock

I ran one at the track. He had some mods, Drag radials and skinnies on the front. My 12.81 to this 12.82. Later in the day the owner let his buddy drive and got 12.4. Even at the close time he was 3-4 MPH faster then I was. My mods at the time were PCM flash, K&N and Borla and I ran a fastest of 12.7 that day. Here is a video of the run.

well wedid a 45 and a 65 punch......45 i spun bad giving him a fender....and the 65 i ke a fender on him until about 100ish...these trucks just weigh alot an are bricks lol

well thats pretty good for a 5,500 lb truck there is a procharged GTO that runs around here not many ppl can take him :dontknow:
