hey to all the srt owners out there with after market shifters,

how did you get the stock boot to stay in place where you wanted it ?


and WFT is it with the same POS boot ring, and trying to put the screws back in - it alway takes me 4 EVER to get tehm lined up and put back together

Don't mess with the boot ring. Just take the whole console up. It's held down with 3-5/16 screws. Much easier than trying to work with the ring. The screws are located under each cup holder and the little storage bin. You might have to flip up the center seat section so that the console will clear the handle.

that prob would have been easer - thanks for the tip i will try that next time
