Hi just a quick question. I have a quad cab and was wondering what the max weight i could carry in the bed?

I need to collect some paving slabs and want to be comfortable with my load weight.

I have a QC and can tell you that the stock leaf springs are WEAK and not make for much of a load. I have loaded 15 U-Haul boxes in mine and it set very low. 10 of those boxes filled with books was all I could haul without it feeling mushy on the turns. Our beasts were made to out run the other trucks and wind-up foreign cars but not to haul heavy loads. My 2 cents worth.

Thanks for the info, will load no more than 500kg and will keep a close eye on suspension
