(1) So it's time to install the hoses that go on the valve covers and to the catch can. What is the correct way to do this? From driver side cover to pass. side cover and then to the catch can? My catch can does not have a filter on it so it looks like a hose went in and back out on the top. Where might it go after the catch can? If to the intake, wouldn't that just draw oil into the intake like I keep hearing about? Is it a good idea to use one of the ROE oil filler caps with the breather on it?

(2) There is some kind of hose barb on the pass. side of the intake right behind the throttle body (not the one on the bottom of the intake which has been plugged). What gets attached to that and from where?

(3) On the aluminum pipe that leads to the T.B. from the intercooler there is a 1 inch hole on the bottom of the pipe. Any idea what went in there? Could that have been where the hose from the catch can went for some type of pcv?

As always, thanks for all the help you guys provide!!

Driver to passenger to catch. You can put filter on exit of cab or run hose to bottom of TB. The can will remove a majority of oil but you still get gases and vapor. I would put filter on it.

I have carch can and I had the ROE breather on it also. I was told by two different viper specialists, not to run both. Why? I dont remember. But I took the ROE breather off.

Intercooler? Do you have turbos or a supercharger? If so the 1" hole would most likely be for a blow off valve.

This will be for the IAC, idle air control, it needs a filter installed on it.

Your thoughts are right, passenger side to drivers side, then to catch can. Put a breather onto of the catch can. Plug the intake nipple off. Dont run a additional breather on the oil fill cap, if the catch can is connected properly it will vent all the air necessary.

It has a paxton and the blow off valve went on the paxton intercooler. I will be putting the blow off valve on a pipe that will go from the outlet of the SC to the new intercooler. The 1" hole is on the bottom of that curved pipe section that attaches to the throttle body. Would they have had the catch can go to there or maybe a hose from the IAC you mentioned?

I cant for sure tell you yes or no, maybe someone with a Paxton could. It does make sense, somewhat, that that is how it would connect. The only thing I am not sure about is if the IAC works properly when it sees boost against it. I know that you could plug off that 1" deal and just run a filter on the IAC and it will be fine. The only downfall to that is then you have a plug in the middle of the pipe which would look stupied and is a additional place that could possibly leak.

So I just found the missing hose in my parts bin that went from the IAC to the J pipe. It is a threaded brass 90 that is screwed into the bottom of the J pipe and has a hose that goes straight to the IAC. Think I should hook it up like that again or get a filter on it and try to plug the hole in the J pipe?

Could boost leak out from the IAC if it's not plumbed back into the intake tract?

I would get rid of it only because it is one more line in the engine compartment that makes it more cluttered. If it was me I would eliminate it, but I always do things different than most. I have eliminated most everything that isnt totally necessary in mine and it looks much better. But that is just my opinion. For example, most people want a cruise control, well I think its ugly so in the bush it went.

No boost, should not leak out of the IAC. If it does then it is because the IAC is stuck open, which would cause you other issues.
