 Would low cold cranking amps or a weak battery at start up cause an illuminated check engine light?

I haven't driven #1900 for about 10 days. I jump in her last night and noticed the LEDs for the alarm wasn't on. She didn't start up easy either. She ran hard last night then this morning she almost didn't start (hard time cranking or slowly turning over since battery seemed weak). Then POOF, the Check Engine light was on. Any comments?:dontknow:

i'm sure its a low voltage code. fresh batt, clean connections, clear code & you be ready to rock & also roll again:rock:

Yeah, I think she's ready for a fresh batt.. It's still the same OEM one. :dontknow: Prolly gonna go with DieHard's latests and greatest.

I just had Sears Platinum installed,Great battery. My oem was 4-yrs. old.If you have the stock 6-disc player be careful,I do not know if it was just coincidence or not ,but i think when they used the jumper to keep your info. It jammed my disc. player up.

i have only used them on my bikes no probs....i drive the sh*t outta my trucks too:rock:   :D

So far the check engine light turned off since I've been driving her and the voltage issue at start up has ceased. I guess she was upset I hadn't been driving her... Spending too much time with the other SRT... I swear.. WOMEN!!!:dontknow: But the battery tender idea :idea:is a good one for when I am out of the country for lengthy amounts of time on business.

All us guys with 04 models, the batteries are about 4 years old now.......which usually means they are on their last legs. I dont know if its the salt air living on an island or what but car batteries never last more the 4 years for me.

Mine when started on Saturday felt like the start was a little slow. So Sears is our best choice or not?
