Either you have a poorly tuned cam in your truck or that sound clip is someone else's ride. Second half sounds nothing like first

Ahh gotcha! Sounds like a broke valve spring or loose rocker in there too? Heard it in both vids. Metallic sounding clack not from injectors:dontknow:

This. We saw sub zero temperatures several times this winter, so cold starts are nothing new to the Western Colorado crowd. My truck has a lumpier idle than Adrian's, but I have never heard a properly tuned truck surge like that on start up.

Sounds like idle control valve sticking making engine hunt at idle, great looking and sounding truck, agree a out the top end noise would get the covers off and take a look sooner rather than later
