You mean that your sense of smell is coming back, right??

I'm still staying up wind from you just to be safe. It wasn't the cigarette smell that got to me.:D

Still rootin' for ya Tony. Glad to hear your doing well.

Both Mom and Dad smoked since before I was born. Dad was also a heavy drinker. Last year Dad ended up in Hospice....TWICE! Both due to final stages of liver failure. Dr's stated his only chance was to stop feeding him drugs to simulate the alcohol and to let him go through DT's. If he survived they'd have a chance to stabilize him. Long story short he made and has since kept off the alcohol. These incidents finally pushed both of them to stop smoking.

Both had tried every way of stopping in the past with only short term results. Mom worked with a Dr and has been smoke free for 8 months. Dad tried several ways and what worked for him was going cold turkey. Point is....may take you a couple times to quit or find a way to help you get through the initial withdrawals but bottom line it comes within you to decide to stop.

Im fortunate in that I've never had bad habits to break so to me its simply stopping but watching those around me go through this kind of thing I can see just how hard it really is.....good luck!

I tried and tried to quit smoking and finally made it...but I still can't keep my hands out of my shorts...any ideas? I tried boxing gloves...
