No! So far all I can do is fly it into the ground. I do that really well.

I've always been into the sport of R/C, but only recently purchased my first. Being that I've been into the import scene for years, I ended up with an HPI Nitro touring car. I used to own a 98 Eclipse convertable, so naturally when I bought the R/C I bought an Eclipse body for it. Once I get back from Iraq, I am going to pick up a Nitro truck, and look into getting an SRT-10 Body for it. My car was pretty rough when I first got it, but once I got it tuned properly I was seeing about 55-60 outta it. I drove it in the rain one day, skidded outta control through a water puddle, hit the storm drain sideways, watched it fly 4 feet high in the air, land upsidedown ripping the motor clean off the chassis, and haven't bothered fixing it since. I strongly suggest buying them new, unless you know the person you buying it used from.

I want to hear more about the srt-10 bodies for them. Is there one out there or are you fabricating it?

Bigike---Who makes that---I want to see if they have a 05 model :)

A good friend of mine is into RC drag racing. He held the world record about 10 years ago with a 132' pass at around 105mph. He recently got back into the hobby and went 109mph his first run, winning the regional open class. I went to a top speed event with him at Rockingham, where he went around 110 mph. There was another electric therre that went like 165mph, setting another new record. The technology in some of these things is amazing. I am going to start building a funny car with his help this spring.

i still have a gas revo and something like 8 airplanes, 2 helicopters and a hydro boat. use to be in it bigtime and raced against the world champion Jay Halsey.
I sold most my cars (all 12 of them) and still have my pan car. u could say i was into rc cars :D :D :D

My buddy's name is Steve Saik, he was on the west coast when he set his records. It was a long time ago, though. He also wrote tech articles for RC magazines and had his own line of motors and batteries. He's been showing me some neat stuff.

dude, please. guns are an expensive enough hobby. last thing i need is for you to post videos like this and get me hooked on yet another expensive hobby. ;)

i've messed around with some rc cars since i was about 5...kept "upgrading" my electric ones so bad i just kept burning stuff up cuz it just was never fast enough.....i'm sure you can relate...so about 4 years ago i bought my first nitro truck...associated rc10gt...i haven't kept up with the "sport" much...but i probably spent around a grand total when it was all said and done...played around with all kinds of springs, shocks, wheels, tires, exhaust, motors, gears, the whole nine yards...i really enjoyed it...raced it locally for a while...kinda just piddled the last few years...needs a tuneup...maybe i'll have to go fix her up now...

the fastest i had it was about 45...but it's a truck, not the touring car...but i do remember distinctly running into my ankle at about 20 mph when the throttle cable got hung up with a piece of gravel, and to keep it from running into my parents house at WOT, i kinda tried to "catch" it....NOT SMART...i sprained my ankle and it was sore for like 2 weeks...

then i flipped it upside down in a storm drain, and it filled the concrete drain with nitro fumes, and i paid my bro 20 bucks to go crawl 10 feet under the road to get it...i got some dumb stuff i've done with it...but surprisingly...it's been a really fun toy...

I used to have a JRX2 back in the old days - then I grew up and got a plane :p :p :p
