Man, sorry for your loss.I have a yellow lab that's going on 14.He is getting bad off and I am afraid it wont be long for him.It's tough,they really do become part of the family and bring alot of joy and laughs.I think about how small my kids were when we got him.They have moved on and he's still hanging tough.It's a hard thing to have to do.I dread the day.RIP good buddy!

Oh man, I am sorry Eddie.........Hercules looks like he was a great dog and friend...... ......so many of us have had to do the same thing, its one of the most difficult things I had to do.......I cried all the way to the vets that day.....

Sorry to hear that Eddie. I'm dreading that day too. We've got a female Doberman (5 years old) and they're really a special breed. Very smart, great watch dogs and great friends.
