as you will know we are still looking for a viper to do some amateur ciruit racing...with time we came across many "for sale" , either ACR GTS's with some track upgrades upp to real race vipers from the viper league....

Now i'm surprized by the fact that we only searched in the recent ads as we tought older ads would be long sold.... isn't so.

Now the most are around 50K asking but stay there unsold...have made a little study on Ebay where for the most 50K asked cars ,the bidding is going upp to 30 -32K... and stops. Never seen a bid going near the asking prize.Ok, perhaps the cars remain unsold...

What's the problem ? economic ? gas prices ? ...:dontknow:

i'm afraid it's time to realize for them having a 2000 or older car the prices are not keeping value as they have done recent years...To many are sold in the meantime and second hands one will come cheaper...I see '93 to '99 's where they ask 50K to.. 60K !! while the new 2008 ACR viper comes soon for less the 100K.... :D

I think it's a bit like our Harley's in Europe...when i bought my Fat Boy in '97 i had to choose between mine '92 with upgrades or a new one .. for the same price ! Now that time is long gonne and i don't sell my Harley but know in such case i should be glad getting 1/2 the new price now...

hope to get some reactions ....;)

My gut says the whole US economy is in deep doo doo. No one is buying expensive toys. Everyone I know who is selling anything from dirt bikes to ferrari's is unable to sell. The US economy is so reliant on real estate and stocks and neither of these markets are hot right now and haven't been for some time. As long as I can remember, at least one of these markets has been hot even if the other is not. Not so these days.

If I were you, I would make low ball offers until someone accepts and that will probably be sooner than you expect. It's a good time for you to buy!

I have been looking into purchasing a 68 - 70 something Charger or Road runner and have found pretty much the samething.

The asking price is extremely high but no one is buying or they need so much work.

With the Canadian dollar just below $1.10 to the US dollar I am hoping to take advantage of it before there is a correction.

All I need is to build a garage so it doesn't get stolen....

The RV business is still alive and well. We sold 77 Units in October. Its the dumb ass Democrats that keep crying doom and gloom.
