race Viper

just a tought from my son and me....we would like to buy a dedicated car for some racing on circuits instead of risk our daily cars....

so we are looking for a BMW M5... or perhaps :dontknow: a Viper... i know, the looks also count.... as i have a jeep and trailer i just need the car ...

for what can i buy a Viper in the US , lets say with good engine and tranny but cosmetic there may be some faults, doesn't count as all to be stripped and covered completely in advertise stuff....... :dontknow:

or even a already race -viper with roll cage etc...?

any idea ?

Barry there was a Viper in Autoweek magazine for sale that was prepped for racing. I will check this weeks and see if it is still in there. Silverback also gets Autoweek, he might still have his old issues.

so far as i see , possible 30K for a convertible,.. 40K for a coupe... hhmmm...
what you think , can i find a coupe for 30K ? mechanical works don't matter, cosmetic not at all.... but no wrecked ones ! :dontknow:

Barry the Viper is in autoweek this week. It is a blue '96 GTS, only problem is that it is a Hennessey 650. Nice looking car in the ad. If you are interested I will get the number for you.
