Rad fan speed

Ran the 10 yesterday (winter storage) she got up to 200 after about 30 min- I checked the fan to see if it was running, didnt seem to be spinning very fast...whats the fan speed and is it variable?

The fan runs all the time I think and you will know when it jumps to big speed!! Sounds like a Boeing 747

I never heard mine even at 200 in the summer, then I installed a B&G Stage2 PCM which has the high speed come on 20-30* cooler and yes it is a 2 speed fan and does sound like a hurricane under the hood. OE setting for high speed is over 220* i think unless its tuned to cool it down sooner. It will work better with the 170* thermostat i will be installing.

I seem to remember torrie telling me high speed was set for 213* oem.

I agree! Certain tunes have it come in early but I don't see it necessary. We run in 110* and mine may touch 200*. 90% of the times she stays 185*
I personally feel it robs power on high speed as it stresses the PS pump more and in turn your crank power.

Good thanks guys!!!..it got 105 this summer up hers and the highest i seen it was 210...
