Radar Detectors Again

Looking at a V1 and went to the home page from a link on the boards, https://store.valentine1.com/store/
What am I missing, that detector is only 399 and the ones I see selling on ebay are 499?

Seeing that my one and only ticket I was paced Im still not sure why I think I need one. I went the deferred route and can’t get another ticket within 6 months. Speeding seems to be my only issue, imagine that.

I always had Escort I have one in Each vehicle, I have the Solo S2's which are cordless and do not eat up batteries. These will not make you immune to all tickets or getting caught speeding however, they make you pay more attention to what speeds you're going when they go off. Saved my ass dozens of times.

The battle was between the V1 and the 8500 x50. I just want to find out why that site his it listed for less not that im complaing. I want to make sure im overlooking something.

Mike Valentine has no dealers and sells direct and always has.
The Ebay sellers mark the V1 up 100.00, and some buy them.
Buy it direct from Valentine.
There seem to be lesser amounts of "DEALS" on Ebay than a few years ago. You can still get a good price on Ebay once in a while, on some things but that is getting harder as time goes by, "to get a deal".

I ordered a pair of Stroud Air Launcher Chutes from Jegs yesterday and I talked to Chris a customer service rep. He told me that Jeg's sells at the same price on Ebay as the catalogue, and has lots of sales.

Sometimes for me I buy other things on Ebay for the convenience as I can click=buy, click=paypal and it is done in about 2 minutes. I don't have to fill out forms, look up my credit card # and it is usually hassle free.

buy the V1, and get it from the V1 website. you're not missing anything from ebay - they just charge more on ebay because they can get it.
