Interesting concept!!! LOL! Actually, I think driving these slow and allowing the gawkers to catch up and gander is pretty funny!

Oh Yeah - a Sheriff deputy friend of ours gave us a heads up -- They are installing 360 deg detectors here and in the entire state - they can clock you all around them now -- ouch - have mercy - he also said if your doing 11 mph or less over the speed limit most guys don't bother to stop you since they feel speeding is not their mission in life :) catchin bad guys is! FWIW

I like the V1. I have mine sitting just under the rear view mirror and hardwired into the overhead console. Can't imagine going back to another detector that doesn't show you which way the threat is coming from. It is very sensitive but has two other settings to be less sensitive. It also has as an option a remote display that can be placed lower to not attract as much attention if desired. With a built in, you don't have the option of moving it to another vehicle if needed.

Also very easy to use the mute option.
