I mean no sound.. not mute function.

Just swapped RB4 with RB3 (european version), it goes on.. but I can't hear any sound :dontknow:

I believe this radio has some issues since if I put back RB4 it works.

any hints? I can hear pop sound by sub when turning ignition key on/off.

don't know about european versions, but the rbq's (us version) for our trucks have to have part# starting with p05 (not p56) or you'll get no sound.......:(

Sounds like a bad ground wire. :dontknow:

that could be the point! I found that unit was built in 2003.... might be the same issue!

ok, I'm sending that damned radio back ! (at least I was able to copy the NAV CD contents!)

anything to do with the subs powering the speakers:dontknow:
I have the same shit with a OEM radio and DIN adaptor. Gonna rip out the wiring sub's next summer, start all over again...

could it be some connector rewiring issue? maybe they shifted some wires from a pin to another during years.. I don't wanna give it up so easy!

does anyone has a radio wiring diagram or is it included in the big one (200 megs)?

you are absolutely right, but I'd better listen to the radio instead of revving and listening to exhaust pops!

pops...hhhmmm.... i love them... you know... now i tell a secret... when goosing pedal i'm already waiting for them... hahhaha

I say again...the only reason I gear down is to avoid brake dust...it has nothing, absolutly nothing, to do with the loud, sexy, guttural gurgle and low level explosions of un-spent fuel. That's my story...

PROF, is that a example of a retorical sentence  :dontknow:

:p :D

probed RB3 output with a spare loudspeaker: signal level is lower than RB4. It is probably not enough to drive amps? any hints?

that unit is built in 2003... maybe too much old...
I'm sending it back
