I just find it hard to believe you, you come on here and flap your gums saying I beat a 600 and you cant even remember what kind of bike it was, If it was a older bike, SURE I believe you. If its a new R6, Kawi 6RR, suzukit 6R, I find it hard to swallow. I know if I was running a Rice Rocket, I could tell the make and model.

That was a nice kill. Glad you didn't miss 3rd. My only time I walked a crotchrocket was one night on the freeway. I counted on the driver being too scared, and hopefully more sense than, to take it up past 130 mph. He would have to have gems of steel to go that fast. :dontknow: But I'm sure if he was crazy enough and tried (and lived) he would have killed me. But last Christmas I gave two of them a hell of a hard time simultaneously on the freeway. They were pretty impressed.

the only 600 that you MIGHT pull on would be a Katana 600, which makes a wheezy 58hp. that and most of the wanna be sport bikes say "600" on the side of them for market apeal which tells you that they are not all that

i dont want to start something here, but Vipers and Sportbikes i do for a living.
drivers being equaled, i could school ANY production car with a stone stock 600 supersport bike. a good 600 will run 7's in the 8th and 10's in the 1/4

It is unfortunate that these guys have even less respect for the good sense of their forum family than they do for the truth...... Any mature, self respecting individual with an even rudamentary knowledge of power to weight ratios would know better than to make such a feckless claim.

The temerity (look it up) of these little twits is without peer........

If "Steady" Eddie Lawson (himslef) told them they were FOS, they'd probably argue with him too.......

i dont doubt he raced the guy and won. it was a freak thing that couldnt be duplicated if the situation was repeated and things went the way they should.
i just cant swallow saying the trucks can beat a real sportbike. phug, even a Harley could give a stock srt a good run!;) :D

Dude your such a idiot.. i cant beleave the shit that comes out of your mouth . you have no idea about anything . just because your 70+ yrs old and launch your truck in 5th gear and cant figure out why your 0-60 is 30 seconds..whoo hoo.. i think you need some driving lesons... and ya maybe some new 600s run 10s but ive never seen it or heard of it but only on this site with you old boys... and when we were at the track there were 600s' to 1000's running and the 1000's were lucky to get into the 10's , My buddie has several bikes one is a gsxr 1000 and he runs mid 10s.. so i dont see no 600 matching it. and it is unfortunate that you have even less respect fot the good of the site to open your grandpa ass mouth and blab about shit you have no idea about .. your reading some books on hoped up 600s who knows what are done to them.. and ill even go this far bring yoru geezer ass up to canada or to florida this winter and we'll go rent a stock 600 and ill race your ass.. for what ever $$$ you like ...and we'll settle this for good...

Very good point Boomer. I've made many 1/4-mile passes on my sportbikes and have yet to see a "truck" hang with one of my bikes. Unless he was supercharged/turbo'ed and at a "roll", the truck doesn't have a prayer.

Katuna 600 maybe???

I was willing to "play" with one a few months back from a first-gear roll in my truck, hit second....he was gone.....:dontknow: Ask anyone, I drive the $h** out of my truck, hell if it weren't so far I might make the trip to drag you around...my truck is no slouch....and all I have is a Magnafow cat-back and a K & N drop-in.

Trust me I don't know where you get off to cutting into Silent D, but he's a well-respected member of our community...you're walking on thin ice.....:2in1:
