Ran into Ron aka 1bad4dr at the Track tonight, along with about 35 SRT-8s! No joke, never seen so many in one spot. Several had driven from CA! :burnout:

They are here for the Southeastern Region LX GTG. Didn't even know they were having one. Looks like I'll have to take NBT tomorrow as my beoutch!

Southeastern Regional LXForums.com meet 'n' greet 'n' eat! We are a "go" for July 29th and the location is the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Ga.

Anyhow, their showing was impressive! Here are some pics.

My last pass, got to line up next to a "L"! We were 3 back in line, when a mustang broke down in my lane. The L did NOT want to wait and raced by himself. Boy was I pissed! My first chance at a L!

He ended up running a 15.4, so no wonder he didn't wait.

What did you run Bone?

Howdy, Everyone!

Bone - I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you but I got out to the track very late. I saw your messages over on LXF, though, and wanted to thank you for stopping by!

Everyone - As one of the organizers of the Southeastern Shindig, I'd like to announce that the Southeastern Shindig 2008 will be expanded to include ALL modern Mopar products so you are all more than welcome to join us for some great fun!

I hope to see a lot of y'all there! :)

ps - it would probably help if I put the web address here in the message, eh? http://www.southeasternshindig.com

what a clown lol.. common bone spill the beans... what kinda times you get?
LOL
Saving it for the Nats. However, I was in the 11s (with NOS). I am about done with the Tuning with the new pulley. However, working on an issue around 5K.
Biggest decision is what pill to run for the Nats!

5969 lbs with me in the truck!:D

I ran Ron and his SC SRT-8 without NOS to make it fair. Still had my NOS tune (less timing and more fuel) in the VEC during that run - my bad, didn't have time to change it.

Bone,

Man I can't tell you how much of a pleasure it was meeting you last night. lol That inlcudes your Biotch and Ken today.

The DA SUCKED last night as did track prep and the Driver. lmao

I managed an 11.94@114 WTF?? with a 1.77 60'. Ok, I have 295 DR's which are Waaaaaaaaaaaay too short for my power as I was short shifting into 4th about 120' from the 1/4 mile marker. errrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

No woorries though as I have my new Nitto 305's enroute. Woo Hoo.

Your truck is a monster fo sho brotha.

HAHAHA, DA Sucked. Welcome to GA my friend!

Yeah it was a good time along with today's event! Amazing how many people attended and the distances they drove to get here! I talked to Glenn and he was talking about opening it up to all Mopar next year.

You have a very stout vehicle there. Need to bring it to the Nats! I see Jeremy is going to make it again along with a vendor's booth!

Trying to attach some pics now.

Bone sounds like you had a blast.....your truck has come a looong way!! Can't wait to see what she does when you get her all dialed in. How much you figure you have in parts and labor for just the cam, pistons, rings and rods?

Tell Kenny that Chad says what up brotha!!??? You guys have fun....next year I hope to join your convoy to the Nats!

Taliban can give you a better labor hour count for the cam, pistons, rings and rods. Also, depends what you want to do with them. Separate or these four together for an install?

Back to the thread:

Made it in last night Dave, thanks for the hospitality/stay/tune.... clutch is good....truck run's great...and looks like the weather will be pretty humid here until Thursday...then a cool front...high Fri/Sat in the low 80's...mid to upper 60's at night:rock: Still a hell of a lot cooler here than FL:rock:

Will be here in Toledo until Thursday....then heading down to Columbus:burnout:

Great to meet some of the SRT 8 gang, Charger Girl and I had some fun with some bitch in some POS giving us a time of it on the interstate.... called her last night sometime around 16:30 ish:dontknow: We were both still on the road...then I lost the call. Hope she made it to her destination. Have not checked the LX forums yet.

Dave... I figured out what the pain in the foot was.... seems that I had a 1/4 inch of metal wire in my L foot...LOL Dug it out this morning. Not bad after a week of it.:dontknow: Thought it was a spur, until I looked at it:eek:

All is well... safe travels on the way up here... only two PITA spots... the split in KY, and some construction in north GA. I made it from your place to Toledo in Ten and a half hours:rock:

Ken, glad to hear you made it OK!

Were you pulling ChargerGirl or was ChargerGirl pulling you along?:D

I guess you can call a metal wire a spur. :dontknow:

Still can't post the LX forum pics??
