Im looking at replacing my DD with a 05' Range Rover. price is nice. everything seems fine with it. extended warrenty included with it. anyone ever own one of these...any thing i should know or look for?

Don't break the headlights... they are $2000 to replace one. :eek:

They seem to be very maintenance intensive to own. Be sure to extend the warranty as long as you can. Great luxury tho. :rock:
 
I bought one for My son, dip it in bronze it will eat you alive, My ex Boss bought a 2010 supercharged, it ate his lunch in time taking it back to the dealer. They dont call it the most expensive SUV in the world for nothing. Now saying that if you like a high maintenance peice of ass buy the RR

They are junk dont do it . The air ride always messes up with them i repo them all the time trust me dont do . Plus its like 2grand for a brake job

I was looking at the Range Rover Sport, but almost everyone I talked to complained about electronic gremlins and that they spent more time taking theirs in to have things fixed than driving it. I really wanted one and loved they way they drive. Ended up buying an Escalade instead. Very reliable and a nice ride, just doesn't seem as quality as the RR, but it has never let me down.
 
Junk,

I almost bought a 2010 for the wife, and then started to research them.. total junk.. consumer reports are at 300% negative.. not sure how you pass 100% but thats where they were when I was researching them.
 
wow....thanks guys...i think ill stay away from them....i guess thats why they are around 19-20k for a suv that was 65k new...i love this forum
 
look at the 04 and up toyota 4-runners if your looking for a reliable suv... I just got a steal on a 06 4-runner 70k miles damn near new in and out for right under 18k.....it blue books for 24k right now!
 
Didn't dan henderson get a new range rover from dana white after his win, and on the way home from vegas it broke down lol, brand new suv think it was the HSE ?
