Raptor Shift Light RPM Setting?

everyone has been saying 5500 RPM after that you loose power.

I would recammend between 5300 and 5500 depending on how quickly you shift. I have found these trucks slow down if you shift too late (instock form). Of course by slow down I mean don't accelerate as quickly.

I think mine is at 5600 rpm.
Yes, but you have a supercharger, your engine doesn't run out of breath when a N/A engine does. And yes I am jealous!

Actually, when I drag raced the truck last year my times improved (were lower) when I shifted at the 6000-6100 rpm redline vs shifting at 5600 rpm. When I would run to 6K then shift I was deeper in the boost which seemed to help my times.

I believe my dyno numbers drop off after 5600 rpm or so even though the boost goes up a bit.

the best way is to set it at 5500 on a stocker and adjust it from there.

Like Dave i have mine set at 5800 which means my shift is complete by 6000.

when or if ever My POS gets completed i am told my redline will be 6500 with peak around 6200rpms:D gonna sound like a buzz bomb:p

I would set it on peak hp, that way you are actually shifting a tad after peak power:dontknow:

The only thing bad about shifting early is it drops you down further inthe rpm range for the next gear. I got the best time shifting at 5900.

I set mine at 5300...seems if I set it any higher my engine builds rpm so quickly that no matter how hard I speed shift I still hit the rev limiter. But I am very old and slow...

i JUST ordered one so when i got it, i am going set it at 2000 but if i am on track then i could changed it into 5500, it is important to turn ignition off when changed the rpm set
